Back with a Bang: Monaco, Milan, and More! #AprilDiary
A Month of Tennis, Art, Fashion and Formula E Fun
Hello dear readers, I'm back! Apologies for my absence, but inspiration took a little vacation. However, the break was productive, and I've amassed a collection of drafts that promise more than just your weekly newsletter fix. Get ready for a variety of topics, from sports and fashion to the music currently filling my ears, and of course, the highs and lows of life – because let's face it, we tend to focus solely on the positive online.
April was a month brimming with travel, laughter with friends, and finally, the glorious return of sunshine to lift our spirits.
After a rather damp Easter, I kicked off the month with a weekend in Monaco, surrounded by close friends for some iconic Monte-Carlo tennis. Sun-kissed skies, birdsong, and the vibrant blue waves contrasting with the green trees and clay courts, it was pure bliss.
Next stop, Milan! Art Week with MiArt fair brought a vibrant explosion of colors, black and white nuances, and diverse artistic expressions to life.
Then came the most significant week of all (even surpassing both Milan Fashion Weeks combined): Design Week. Tourists and self-proclaimed Italian furniture experts flooded the streets, eager to witness and capture the latest home must-haves. This year, I only attended a few events with friends, but check out the photos below for a glimpse!
April's abundance of public holidays makes it a short month for Italians.
So, combining work and pleasure, I returned to sunny Monaco for their Fashion Week, news that surprised many locals! Not only did I have the pleasure of meeting like-minded individuals, but I also explored the collections of various Monegasque brands, leaving me with a serious case of shopping wanderlust. From vibrant prints to bikinis for every occasion, there's something for everyone.

Plus, the Central Saint Martins MA students' fashion show/performance felt like a homecoming – a celebration of diverse and eccentric styles that stole the show on Friday.
Saturday brought the main event – the Formula E race! For those who haven't discovered my passion beyond music, fashion, and tennis, cars hold a special place in my heart. This time was extra special! Though my alarm went off at 7:20 am, I was able to witness the testing from the comfort of my pajamas on the Fairmont Hotel terrace, overlooking the world-famous Hairpin corner. Unfortunately, later the race itself was marred by impromptu "fans" who lacked both knowledge and basic courtesy. So, apologies in advance for the audio.
Monaco always captures a piece of my heart, and I can't wait to share next month's MonacoGP adventure, which promises to be even more exciting, especially with the plethora of off-track events!
